Peter Faulding said he would be looking closely at the phone evidence and was “surprised” Nicola had not been found in the river, if high frequency sonar was being used.
He said it was “quite a straight forward river” to search as it’s narrow and fairly slow moving but said underwater sonar depended on the operator and kit being used.
