A 47-year-old woman and two boys, aged nine and seven, have been found dead in southeast London.

They were found inside a house in Belvedere, Bexley, the Metropolitan Police said.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before midday on Thursday due “to concerns for the welfare of occupants” of the house on Mayfield Road.

The London Ambulance Service also sent a medic fast response car and two incident response officers, but the victims were found dead at the scene.

The Met said that “at this early stage, detectives are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation”.
