Over 3 million women caught in a pension trap are struggling financially

Over three million women caught up in a pensions trap are said to be struggling financially – with a third saying they are in debt.

The women, born in the 1950s, have been campaigning because they claim they were overlooked when the government increased the state pension age to 66 when they were expecting to claim their pension from the age of 60.
