Chernobyl site in Ukraine under close watch

If Russian troops do invade Ukraine the most direct route to Kiev will take them past one of the most infamous sites in Soviet History.

Chernobyl is close to the Ukrainian capital. And that makes it strategically important because north of the exclusion zone is the border with Russian ally Belarus.

Ukraine has been increasing military deployments to the zone, Sky News’ Dominic Waghorn visited to find out why.
